The 4th Plenary Meeting of the NOVASOIL project entitled “Innovative Business Models for Soil Health” was held on 3-4 April in Sofia, Bulgaria. This meeting brought together experts and collaborators of the project with the aim of advancing the creation of sustainable business models that promote healthy soil management. Over two intensive days, participants shared progress, discussed ongoing experiments and planned future strategies.
The meeting focused on discussing and validating the deliverables for month 18 of the project, with particular emphasis on coherence and interaction between the different work packages. Main topics included:
The highlight of the meeting was the participation of representatives from the sister projects SoilValues and InBestSoil to discuss possible areas of collaboration. Joint activities such as webinars and a special issue were suggested to increase synergies between the projects.
The fourth plenary meeting of the NOVASOIL project proved to be an important turning point for participants, providing a platform to exchange ideas, validate approaches and strengthen collaborations. With the continued commitment of its partners, NOVASOIL continues to lead the way towards sustainable innovations in soil health that are essential for the future of global agriculture.
